Raptors’ Anunoby out after appendectomy


Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby has been ruled out indefinitely after an emergency appendectomy Thursday night, the team announced.

Anunoby, the Raptors’ first-round draft pick in 2017 out of Indiana, is a key bench player for the Raptors, who open their first-round playoff series at home against the Orlando Magic on Saturday (5 p.m. ET, ESPN).

The second-year player averaged 7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game this season.
